I look to the mantra above to choose good options, always striving to get better ones and when I can, I choose the best. For meat (and yes I believe in eating meat -as a side dish portion 😉), I have found the BEST in Native Pantry. It is local, pasture raised meat that I trust. We have been friends with Jeff Smith co-owner and we know he is diligent in ensuring safe pastures and water for the animals.

The Turkey was like I remember when I was a kid at my Grandparents farm; super flavorful and FRESH....I prefer not to eat the conventional turkey brands in the stores anymore!

I trust that Jeff and Bill are sourcing the best possible proteins that they can find; they know the farmers and are learning how to raise animals on pasture themselves. If they can't get something they always come up with a great alternative I would have never thought to try!
